Flexible Newborn Care

Flexible Newborn Care

I work closely with both parents (I think of myself as your coach) and offer the same care as outlined in Traditional Newborn Care for the first two weeks to show you everything from swaddling, feeding positions, how to establish routines that will enhance feeding and sleeping habits and then help you to practice these techniques.  I do my best to answer all of your questions.

I will show you how to start and maintain a baby log for the first few months and demonstrate how it can be a crucial tool for figuring out natural schedules and decoding fussy behaviors

The main difference in Traditional and Flexible Newborn Care is how we use my time.  The main difference is the length of the guaranteed length of contract.  Traditional has a 4-week contract and I leave two weeks open at end in case they want to extend.  Flexible Newborn care has a contract of two weeks guaranteed time.  There is an option to extend especially if told early, but I do make every effort to see you have coverage if you need more time.

Both services give you the option of a 5-night, 3-night weeknight coverage.  Both give you a choice of 8 hr., 10hr or 12hr night shifts.

Two Choices – Your Decision

I offer these choices as I know every budget is different. I wanted to make sure all parents had access to quality newborn care.
